Anthony

Mead

Coach, Fighter

After training kickboxing for over a year, Anthony took his first grappling class back in 2008 at a small MMA gym in East London. He’s continued training ever since, in both gi and nogi, doing the bulk of his journey at London Fight Factory where there was a continuous stream of high level visitors and guest instructors such as Eduardo “Teta” Rios, Fernando “Terere” Augusto and Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida, to name a few. Here he met Enrique “la furia” Villasenor, who awarded him his black belt.

Throughout the belts I have competed winning Gold at the IBJJF London Nogi open, English open, Tuff Nogi Grappling and many regional opens, and also medaled at the IBJJF British national, British nogi open and London Warriors Cup among many others.

Anthony also holds a level 3 personal training qualification.
