Timetable – Phase 2

By Darren 0

Hi guys!

Just a quick update to say that the second phase of our timetable is effective as of tomorrow (Tuesday 8th September): https://www.kraken-mma.com/temporary-timetable/

There are a few changes. Firstly, we have managed to put on more classes than during phase one. Now that we have been dealing with the extra coronavirus precautions for a while, we know that the sanitation process between classes doesn’t take quite as long as we first anticipated. Therefore we have reduced it to a 30 minute gap between most of the classes allowing us to put more on! To be able to do this, there has been one or two tweaks to times so please have a careful look.

Rest assured that our rigorous sanitation and coronavirus measures will remain!

Bubbles

Perhaps the most significant change is that we have reintroduced some Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (submission grappling) classes for adults and juniors. Within these classes and the other martial arts classes (adults & juniors) there will be the possibility for students to participate in some full-contact drilling and/or sparring providing they are only doing this only with someone(s) from within their bubble. Please see the governments website for all of the information on bubbles: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus .

All of those wanting to do this, getting back to some level of normality will be required to fill in and sign a form on reception to stipulate your bubble along with any other members (all members of the bubble are required to sign). Make sure that you arrive in plenty of time before class so that we have time to complete this. New risk assessments have been done. Please be advised that there is to be no training whatsoever with anybody from outside of your bubble until the government advises otherwise. Social distance will also still need to be maintained between different bubbles.
